Accessibility Policy
This website has been designed to follow WCAG Level 2 guidelines and has been tested using the WAVE Accessibility toolbar and NVDA screen reader for the main site areas.
Access keys have been set in the application for some common functions. These are indicated by underlining the letter which acts as the shortcut key e.g. Create New Patient.
Note: The shortcut key combination is different in different browsers:
- Chrome, Safari, Opera 15+: [ALT] + Access Key
- Internet Explorer and Edge: [ALT] + Access Key NB: With Internet Explorer (IE) and Edge, the shortcut keys only work if they are visible on the page and menu items are only selected. With IE you will need to follow the shortcut key with pressing enter
- Opera prior version 15: [SHIFT] [ESC] + Access Key
- Firefox: [ALT] [SHIFT] + Access Key
e.g. in the example above if you are using Firefox press [ALT] [SHIFT] [c] to activate the shortcut.
